Summer is here and it is promising to be a busy season! Lots of field work in Tampa and the Keys, setting up our Eco Eng. physical analysis lab, theses, workshops, and conferences.

WaSus at AGU Fall Meeting 2017
Mauricio and Michelle attended the AGU Fall meeting in New Orleans. Mauricio presented two posters related to research in the Mekong and Michelle presented part of her work at EPA.

To celebrate the end of the year, WaSus and Friends met for a fun evening coming up with some special pizza recipes!

PI attended NSF-CNH Amazon Dams Network workshop
Mauricio just returned from a great exchange of ideas between multiple stakeholders interested in issues related to hydropower development in the Amazon. The workshop was organized by UF's Amazon Dams Network, and was hosted by the USGS in Flagstaff, AZ.
